Association of Central Oklahoma Governments

Professional Auditing Services

The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit the financial statements of the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments ( Association ) and the 9-1-1 Association of Central Oklahoma Governments ( 9-1-1 Association ) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, and with the option for each of the four (4) subsequent fiscal years.

The Association's audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards as set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the standards set forth for financial audits in the General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (2003), the provisions of the federal Single Audit Act of 1984 (as amended in 1996) and U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations .

The 9-1-1 Association's audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the standards for financial audits set forth in the U.S. General Accounting Office's (GAO) Government Auditing Standards (2003).

There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Association to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request.

A preproposal conference for all the firms interested in submitting a proposal will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 29, 2008 in the Association's boardroom at 21 E. Main St., Suite 100 , Oklahoma City , OK to answer questions about the engagement. After this preproposal conference, any inquiries concerning the request for proposals should be addressed to Deborah C. Cook, Director of Finance.

To be considered, two (2) copies of a proposal must be received by Deborah C. Cook, Director of Finance, at 21 E. Main Street, Suite 100 , Oklahoma City , OK 73104-2405 by 5:00 p.m. on March 31, 2008. The Association reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.

Regional Household Travel Survey, Onboard Transit Survey And Travel Demand Model Update

The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments, the Metropolitan Planning Organization for the Oklahoma City Area Regional Transportation Study (OCARTS) area is requesting proposals from qualified Consultants to conduct a Regional Household Travel Survey, an Onboard Transit Survey, and a Travel Demand Model Update.

The chosen Consultant (or team of Sub-consultants working under a prime Consultant) will be required to conduct the tasks in accordance with the Scope of Services described in the Request for Proposal (RFP).For detailed proposal requirements, click on the following link:
