The Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, in partnership with the Oklahoma Rehabilitation Council, will hold three public hearings across the state regarding proposed amendments and updates to the State Plan for Vocational Rehabilitation Services (Title I of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973) and Supported Employment Services (Title VI of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973).
An Oklahoma City public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 15th from 1PM to 3PM in the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services’ 2nd floor conference room at 3535 NW 58th Street. Public hearings will also be held in Lawton on Tuesday, May 13th and in Tulsa on Wednesday, May 14th.
The proposed State Plan, including the proposed changes, will be posted to the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services’ website.
Comments on the proposed changes can be submitted one of two ways: by mail, sent to the attention of Melinda Fruendt, Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services, 3535 NW 58th Street, Suite 500, Oklahoma City, OK, 73112-4824, or by email to MFruendt@okdrs.gov. All written comments must be received no later than Thursday, May 15, 2014.
