Get Plugged In: Electric Car Show at Scissortail Park on September 4

ACOG Celebrates National Drive Electric Week

The Association of Central Oklahoma (ACOG) will celebrate National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) by providing Oklahomans interested in driving an Electric Vehicle (EV), an opportunity to test drive (certain models only) and ask questions to those that drive an EV every day.

Local dealerships and current EV drivers will offer ride and drives in different electric car models at the Electric Car Show being held September 4 from 3:30 to 7:40 pm at Scissortail Park in Oklahoma City.

Electric bikes will also be available to test ride.

More electric vehicles on Oklahoma roads will help improve air quality and help the Oklahoma City area stay in-attainment of EPA ozone standards.

NDEW is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.

ACOG would like to thank our Event Sponsors: Bison Superbikes, Bob Howard Chevrolet, Electric Auto Association, Francis Energy, Nissan, OG&E, Oklahoma City Volkswagen, Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority (OMPA), Plug In America, Rush Truck Centers, Sierra Club, Tesla and Western Farmers Electric Cooperative.
