The Public Participation Plan (PPP) establishes guidelines for the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG), Central Oklahoma’s metropolitan planning agency (MPO), to engage the public in regional decision-making and the federally funded transportation planning process. Through Monday, November 3, ACOG is seeking review and comments from any and all interested Central Oklahomans on the proposed PPP.
ACOG strives to have meaningful and continuous public participation through conducting education and outreach about elements of the transportation planning process. With ACOG in the beginning stages of the next metropolitan transportation plan update, Encompass 2040, it is especially important to further enhance methods of communication, access and involvement.
The PPP can be reviewed here as a PDF or a paper copy is available at each metro area public library.

Comments received will be reviewed by staff and considered for inclusion in the final PPP to be presented for adoption to the Intermodal Transportation Policy Committee in November.
