The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) invites the public to attend 2018 Air Quality Committee Meetings.

For decades, ACOG has been the regional convener, promoter, and advocate for actions that reduce air pollution.

Central Oklahoma has never been placed in non-attainment status by the Environmental Protection Agency due to the actions of public and private stakeholders. These actions have led to cleaner air and have helped the region avoid punitive regulatory measures.

Central Oklahoma Air Quality Committee Objectives 2018

  1. Educate members on air quality basics, regional ozone data collection, and recent air pollution levels
  2. Sharing of information regarding current efforts to mitigate air pollution and discussion of additional mitigation strategies
