Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) Seeks Public Input for Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy

The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) is calling on residents, business owners, and stakeholders in Canadian, Cleveland, Logan and Oklahoma counties to participate in an important survey to help shape the future of the regional economy. The survey is part of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), a regional planning document that will guide economic growth and resilience over the next several years.

The CEDS survey is designed to gather valuable input from the public on key issues such as job creation, business development, infrastructure improvements, and community priorities. By participating, residents can have a direct impact on the direction of economic strategies that affect everything from local businesses to quality of life.

Every five years, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) requires ACOG, as the Capital Area Economic Development District (CAPEDD) of Oklahoma, to update its CEDS. This document serves as a framework for creating economic goals from a regional perspective. It is strategy-driven, collaboratively developed, and locally implemented. The information provided within the document assists local decision makers in setting investment priorities and aligns public and private investment goals.

The survey is open to all members of the public and only takes a few minutes to complete. Input from a broad range of perspectives will ensure that the CEDS reflects the diverse needs of the entire region.
