The City of Edmond will conduct two public meetings on Thursday, October 17th to hear comments from citizens regarding proposed reductions of service to the Citylink Access Paratransit Service (CAPS) program. Citylink is proposing a reduction of its CAPS service area from citywide to ¾ mile around each fixed route.

The public meetings will allow City staff to describe the proposed changes to Citylink service and receive public comments regarding the changes. Both meetings will be held in the auditorium of the Edmond Downtown Community Center, 28 East Main, on Thursday, October 17th. The first meeting will take place at 2PM and the second at 6PM.

The CAPS program is a free curb-to-curb service for assisting disabled Edmond residents in using Citylink and ensuring they are taken to appointments within the Edmond city limits by a wheelchair-accessible bus in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The proposed reduction in service is attributed to budgetary restrictions.

Comments regarding the proposed changes will be accepted through Thursday, October 17th. To submit those comments, questions or to request an interpreter or disability accommodations for the public meetings, the City of Edmond asks you contact:
