Over the 4th of July weekend, we had planned on canvassing the mean streets of Bricktown, handing out kites as part of our www.GetSquare.org street team. The rain dampened our plans, but yesterday we went out and conducted a test flight for our kites. There is something to be said about the wind walls created by the urban environment, and the power lines. Kite safety cautions that you should do this in an open space, say a park.
Here, our Danny Fazekas can barely conceal his enthusiasm when we asked him to go fly a kite. If you want a kite, and you have a child under 10, stop by our offices and ask us for one. We’ve got plenty, plus it will prove to us that someone is reading our blog!
