The City of The Village Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time 911 dispatcher.

Job Description

The City of The Village Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time 911 dispatcher.

Applicants should have good computer and phone skills, and the ability to operate standard office equipment.

Applicants should have the ability to multi-task under pressure and present themselves as a professional representative of a progressive metro law enforcement agency.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
  • Must not have any felony convictions, serious misdemeanor convictions, Domestic Violence convictions, or pending criminal charges from any state
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Must pass a thorough background check
  • Must pass an oral interview board

This is a salaried position starting at $2,690 per month. Full benefit package at no cost to employee including health, dental and life insurance. Vision and disability are also available. The employee also receives vacation, sick, and comp leave time.
