Kenneth Ray Bartlett
February 6, 1930 – February 11, 2020
Kenneth Ray Bartlett, long-time resident of Del City, was born on February 6, 1930 in Coffeyville, Kansas to William and Effie Bartlett. Mr. Bartlett passed from this life on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Mr. Bartlett had been a proud resident of Del City, OK since 1957.
Mr. Bartlett graduated from the University of Oklahoma and had an extensive career lasting until the age of 85, when he retired from the State of Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
Mr. Bartlett was a Del City Councilman for many years, and is a member of the Del City Hall of Fame. He served on the Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) Board of Directors and committees; and also served as a member of the Rose State College Board of Regents He was a long time member of the Midwest City Rotary and Del City Kiwanis Clubs.
Up until the time of his passing, Mr. Bartlett was the Chairman of Team Tinker Home Away From Home, which is a private, non-profit organization for young, single airmen on their first tour of duty; to make a donation in Mr. Bartlett’s memory, visit here.
