[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyqIJF6UJbU]The Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority (COTPA) and the city of Oklahoma City are holding a series of meetings to engage public participation on enhancing public transportation in downtown Oklahoma City.  At the first meeting on March 26, Mike McAnelly, a transit planner and engineer with Jacobs, described the characteristics and benefits of modern streetcar systems.  The next schedule of meetings in the “Let’s Talk Transit” initiative will be on April 13, April 29 and May 11 at the Civic Center Hall of Mirrors, and May 27 at City Hall.  For complete details, and updated information, visit www.letstalktransit.com.
