ACOG 9-1-1 is excited to welcome Adrian Lamoreux, 9-1-1 Systems Specialist I, as a new member of our team.
Before joining 9-1-1 ACOG, he worked as a Premise Technician with AT&T. As a 9-1-1 Systems Specialist I with 9-1-1 ACOG, Lamoreux ensures the continuous operations and functionality of all 9-1-1 technical systems by monitoring, troubleshooting and problem resolution with vendor partners. He also accepts requests for service from partner agencies and provides immediate assistance via telephone or remote access.
“After a little over a month at 9-1-1 ACOG, I really find the rapidly changing technology to be challenging,” he said. “It constantly requires me to continue my education and stay up-to-date with new technologies, products and services.”
Before living in Oklahoma, Lamoreux lived in Hawaii. “I enjoyed the black and green sand beaches, the year-round Spring type weather and of course the wildlife. Mongoose and green anoles were my favorite along with all the beautiful birds. The native culture was quite fascinating, especially attending a Luau!”
Over the weekends, Lamoreux enjoys going on excursions with his wife and children. He’s also got big plans for his yard: “I want to start a garden this year with some native plants and wildlife habitats. One day I hope my yard can qualify as a Certified Wildlife Habitat.”
