Stuart Campbell Joins ACOG
Transportation Planning & Services

ACOG has hired Stuart Campbell to serve as Assistant Planner in the Transportation Planning and Services Division. Campbell was born and raised in Central Oklahoma, and recently returned from Portland, Oregon, where he spent the last five years.

Campbell holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University. In his studies he focused on

  • Transportation
  • Land use
  • Placemaking
  • Equity Issues

He has planning experience working with public agencies, nonprofits, and private planning firms. His experience includes helping implement a multimodal commute program; assisting with a large-scale ADA compliance study; monitoring federal funds and local contracts for affordable housing developments, and assisting with city transportation and land use planning projects.

At ACOG, Campbell will support both short-range and long-range regional planning efforts. He will work on

  • Transportation Safety Projects
  • Performance-Based Planning Initiatives
  • Assisting with Project Evaluation and Monitoring

Campbell enjoys traveling and learning about places that are new to him. Walking tours are one of his favorite things to do in any city he visits. He is also a huge NBA fan, and loves the Portland Trail Blazers. He admits, however, to cheering for The Thunder when appropriate. He enjoys riding his bike, hanging out in Oklahoma City’s different neighborhoods, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
